The Balramji Das Tandon Charitable Foundation’s initiative to empower widows through monthly ration distribution marked its fifth year with a program in Khuda Ali Sher village. A total of 60 widows received one-month ration kits, and a free medical checkup camp was conducted during the event.
Launched by philanthropist Sanjay Tandon, BJP Co-Incharge Himachal Pradesh & Former BJP President Chandigarh, in memory of his father, Late Shri Balramji Das Tandon, the program issues ration cards to widow families. The provided ration kit includes 10 kg Flour, Parmal 32 (Rice) – 1.5 Kg, Sugar – 1.5 Kg, Chana Dal – 2 kg, Mustard oil – 1 litre, Salt – 1 Kg, A-Lyf Red Tea – 250gm, Haldi – 100 gm, Mirch – 100 gm, Dhania (P) – 100 gm, Jeera – 100 gm, Achar – 200 gm, Sabzi Pakoda – 01 Pkt, Bath Soap – 02 Nos, Clinic Plus Shampoo – 100ml, Babool Paste – 01 Nos, Tooth Brush – 02 Nos, Milk Powder – 500 gm, Naulakha (Cloth Washing Soap) – 01Kg, Dalia – 500gm, Nutri – 400gm, 5 kg Potatoes, and 2 kg Onions.
