Bajrang Dal leader Sameer Kataria’s murder: Police files Arms Act case against unknown assailant

On Saturday night, police at the Civil Lines station have filed a case under the Arms Act against three unknown individuals in the murder case of Bajrang Dal leader Sameer Kataria on Passey Road.

Based on the statements of Jindar Kataria, the brother of the deceased Sameer Kataria, the police have registered a case against unknown individuals under sections 302, 34 IPC, and the Arms Act.

Meanwhile, the police and C.I.A. staff reached the crime scene at the Civil Lines station. The police have seized mobile phones and bullet casings found at the scene and have also taken possession of CCTV footage from the surrounding areas.

The police are working on this case from every angle as the biggest mystery in this case is why Sameer Kataria was murdered, whether it was a personal enmity, business rivalry, or some other reason. Upon reaching the scene, the police have initiated an investigation.

It should be noted that on Saturday night, on Passey Road near Patiala, Bajrang Dal leader and businessman Sameer Kataria was fatally stabbed, and the assailants fled with Sameer Kataria’s car after the attack. The vehicle met with an accident at some distance, and the assailants abandoned the damaged car at the scene. According to the police, determining the motive behind this murder is crucial, and they are making efforts to quickly unravel the mystery behind this blind killing.
