Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean announces divorce from Rochelle after 12 years of marriage

AJ McLean, the American singer and dancer, and his wife Rochelle DeAnna McLean have officially announced their divorce after 12 years of marriage. The couple, who had initially revealed a temporary split in March with hopes of reconciliation, made the announcement on AJ’s Instagram.

In the post, they stated, “As you all know we have been separated for over a year now. While we have hoped for reconciliation, we have decided to officially end our marriage. AJ and Rochelle tied the knot in Los Angeles in December 2011, having met three years earlier when she worked as a waiter in a restaurant.

In their earlier announcement in March, they had mentioned, “Marriage is hard but worth it.
