Ayodhya pran pratishtha celebration: Clay Lamp distribution & pledge against social evils

On the occasion of Shri Ram Pran Pratishtha to be held on 22nd January in Ayodhya Dham, Society for Divine Reiki Meditation and Resident Welfare Association Sector 27 D jointly distributed Clay Lamps to the sanitation workers for Ram Deepotsav, and resolved to celebrate Deepotsav in their homes.

Program coordinator and Secretary of Society for Divine Reiki Meditation, Mehak Singh said that in Shri Ram›s kingdom, there was a system based on social equality and justice in which every class had the right to live a life with religious respect. Taking inspiration from Shri Ram, on this occasion we should take a pledge to eliminate social evils from the society and country. Davesh Moudgil, former Mayor of Chandigarh and president of Yuva Sankalpa Foundation, attended the program as the chief guest.

On this occasion, former Mayor Davesh Moudgil said that Shri Ram is the guide of the entire human society. The life of Lord Shri Ram inspires today›s man to behave according to religion with ideals, discipline and struggles. Shri Ram was an ideal son, an ideal disciple, an ideal brother, an ideal husband, an ideal father and an ideal king, whose reign is not only known but is also considered as Ram Raj till today. Moudgil said that the great poet Maharishi Valmiki ji inspired the entire world to imbibe a life based on religion and karma by writing the life of Shri Ram in the epic Shri
Ramayana.

President Resident Welfare Association Sector 27 D, Shikha Nijhawan thanked all the sanitation workers and dignitaries who had come.

Loveleen Kaur, Jasnee Suri, Palak Gosain, Daisy Mahajan, Rajiv Kataria, Gurdeep Chauhan, Daljit Singh, Subash Palta, Karuna Arora, Naresh Gautam and Puspraj Sharma were especially present on this occasion.
