Dr Pradeep Yadav, a runner associated with the AU Jaipur Marathon, has set a new Guinness World Record in barefoot running. He covered a distance of 21 kilometres barefoot in 21 days, establishing this record in his name. Previously, the record for a 20-day run existed. This 21-kilometer half marathon, initiated under the ‘Save Youth from Drugs’ campaign, aims to free the youth from the poison of drugs.
Dr. Pradeep expressed his gratitude to AU Jaipur Marathon for contributing to the creation of this record. Additionally, a ‘Cleanliness Thon’ was organized on this occasion, in which participants actively took part in the run.
Earlier, the AU Jaipur Marathon organised a Mega Boot Camp, where yoga trainers Prabhakar and Purva provided information to participants about warm-ups before running and precautions to be taken afterwards. The 15th AU Jaipur Marathon, sponsored by AU Small Finance Bank in collaboration with World Trade Park and Sanskriti Youth Foundation, is scheduled for February 4th.
The organisers, Suresh Mishra and CEO Mukesh Mishra of AU Jaipur Marathon have appealed to the residents to join the marathon in large numbers. Housing Finance and Medical Partner Narayana Health Hospital are partners for the event.
