BJP and its allies partner NDPP have crossed the majority mark after winning 34 seats so far in Nagaland as the counting of votes continues. As per the latest trend shared by EC at around 4:45 pm on Thursday, BJP won a total of 12 seats while NDPP won around 22 seats an dis leading on 3 seats.
So far, Congress bagged 5 seats and is leading on 2 seats. Meanwhile, the Republican Party of India got two seats in the Assembly elections. The newbie Lok Janshakti Party, which contested at 15 assembly constituency also managed to open their account by securing a win on one seat and they are leading on another one.
