Artist Creates 10-Foot-Tall Painting of Lord Ram, Hopes to Install It in Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir

As the Pran Pratishtha of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya approaches, an Amritsar-based artist has created a 10-foot-tall painting of Lord Ram, expressing a desire to have it displayed in the newly erected temple. The artist, Jagjot Singh Rubal, revealed that he painted the image of Lord Ram standing behind the Ram Mandir with his hands and acrylic colors.

Speaking to ANI, Rubal stated, “I made this painting with great devotion for January 22. India had a dream of when the Ram temple would be built. The size of this painting is 7 feet by 10 feet, and I started making it on January 1. It is my wish that this painting should be installed in the Ram Mandir.”

The artist used acrylic colors in the painting, portraying Lord Ram against the backdrop of the Ram Mandir. Rubal expressed his wish to visit Ayodhya and light lamps on January 22, the day Prime Minister Modi is set to inaugurate the Ram Mandir.

In another unique expression of devotion, Sudha Car Museum in Hyderabad has created a mobile masterpiece—a model of the Ayodhya Ram Temple mounted on a car. Sudhakar Yadav, the mind behind the model car, mentioned, “Since everyone can’t go and visit Ayodhya, we will take Ayodhya to their doorstep.”

As the Pran Pratishtha ceremony approaches on January 22, security measures have been heightened in Ayodhya. Anti-terrorist squad commandos have been deployed to boost security at various locations, including Lata Mangeshkar Chowk. The Ram temple will be open for public ‘darshan’ from January 23, with the Pran Pratishtha expected to conclude by 1 pm on January 22.
