Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi, Army Commander, Northern Command, along with Chinar Corps Commander, conducted a visit to the Rashtriya Rifles battalion in Pulwama and Anantnag. The purpose of the visit was to review the operational preparedness and their winter strategy.
During the visit, the Army Commander had the opportunity to interact with and commend the troops from the Indian Army (IA) and Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) for their exceptional combat readiness. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a high standard of combat readiness and highlighted the need for ongoing collaboration with all agencies to ensure a meaningful convergence of counter-terrorism efforts in the region’s hinterland.
