Apni Party in Jammu Reaffirms Commitment to Unity and Development

Apni Party6President, Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari, has expressed the party’s commitment to fostering unity, communal harmony, and equitable development in Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking at a joining program held at the Apni Party’s Gandhi Nagar Office in Jammu, organized by SC State President Bodh Raj Bhagat, Altaf Bukhari emphasized the party’s mission to bring communities together and promote brotherhood.
During the event, several prominent individuals and members of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) joined the Apni Party in the presence of President Altaf Bukhari, Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, Provincial President Jammu S. Manjit Singh, Senior Provincial Vice President Faqir Nath, and others.
Welcoming the new members to the party, Altaf Bukhari expressed his hope that their inclusion would strengthen the party at the grassroots level. He praised the Apni Party’s role in Jammu Region, highlighting its commitment to development and unity, which has resonated with the people who had become disillusioned with traditional political parties in the region.
Altaf Bukhari criticized the traditional political parties for promoting division along regional and religious lines to secure vote banks. He emphasized that the Apni Party was formed to address the concerns of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, particularly regarding land and job security. The Apni Party successfully advocated for the protection of jobs and land in the region.
While denouncing violence, Altaf Bukhari stated that the solution to problems lies with the Government of India. The Apni Party will continue to advocate for public issues to promote peace and development in Jammu and Kashmir.
He expressed concern over ceasefire violations in Arnia’s International Border villages and condemned attempts to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere. Altaf Bukhari called for the construction of more community bunkers for civilian populations and their proper maintenance to be used during cross-border shelling, emphasizing the people’s desire for peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
