Anupama actress Rupali Ganguly officially joined the BJP on Wednesday at the party’s headquarters in Delhi.
During a press conference, the popular actor, known for her role in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, expressed her reasons for joining the party, stating, “When I see this ‘Mahayagya’ of development, I feel that I should also take part in this…I need your blessings and support so that whatever I do, I do it right and good.”
The 2024 Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to be held in seven phases, with the first two phases completed on April 19 and April 26. According to the Election Commission of India (ECI), the voter turnout for the first and second phases was 66.1% and 66.7% respectively.
