In the Mandi district, the Himachal Police’s Anti-Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) found and arrested two people in connection with 9.923 kg of cannabis, the police reported on Thursday. The accused have been identified as Girdhari Lal Singh (26) and Arun Kumar (22) by ANTF officials. They said, “An additional car has been recovered from the accused’s possession.” Sections 20, 25, and 29 of the NDPS (Narcotics, Drugs, and Psychotropic Substances) Act have been the subject of a case filed against the two individuals at the Sunder Nagar police station.
The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) was constituted by the state police to curb the drug menace in the state. The ANTF has three field units at Kangra, Kullu, and Shimla in the state.
