Another case of Monkeypox in Kerela, tally rose to 5

Another case of monkeypox has been reported in Kerela, which makes a total of eight cases.

The Health Minister of Kerela, Veena George, confirmed the news.

Reportedly, the patient has been admitted to the hospital in Malappuram and is undergoing treatment.

According to the minister, the 30-year-old arrived at Kozhikode Airport on July 27 from the UAE and was receiving treatment at the Manjeri Medical College in Malappuram.

The first case of the Monkeypox was reported in Kerela on July 14 after a man returned from the UAE. He had been admitted to the hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. The other two cases were reported on July 18 and July 22 in the Kannur and Malappuram districts of Kerala, respectively.
