Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 6 October. He is also said to have an appointment with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
He is scheduled to leave for Delhi on 5 October. Reddy has already met the Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi 10 days ago.
During his visit, CM Jagan is also likely to meet Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. According to sources, Jagan will be urging the Finance Minister to release the fund for the state. Jagan Mohan Reddy will also convey his thanks to the Union Finance Ministry for allowing the AP government to obtain additional borrowing capacity for the successful implementation of the Public Distribution System (PDS) and Ease of Doing Business reforms.
Y.S. Jagan is likely to attend river disputes meet in Delhi. Speculation is rife that the CM may be requesting PM to order a CBI enquiry into the discrepancies in the buying and selling of Amaravati lands and AP Fibernet scam.
