Amid no-helmet ride controversy, Amitabh Bachchan writes ‘Arrested’ in viral post

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan took to his official Instagram handle and shared a picture posing next to a Mumbai Police van, jokingly suggesting that he had been ‘Arrested’. For those unaware, Big B has been grabbing all headlines after his picture of riding a pillion on a stranger’s bike went viral on social media platforms.

On Sunday, Big B had shared a picture with a biker on Instagram. In the caption of his post, he wrote, “Thank you for the ride buddy…Don’t know you…but you obliged and got me on time to location of work…faster and in avoidance of the unsolvable traffic jams…Thank you capped, shorts and yellowed T-shirt owner (sic).”

Reacting to his post, one of his fans wrote, “So finally 14 mulkon ki police succeeded.” Another wrote, “Hahahaha love you sir.” A third fan wrote, “Bhootnath ko koi arrest nahi kar sakta.” A fourth fan wrote, “Highly Unlikely! But your swag is outstanding for sure!”

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Big B was last seen in Uunchai. He will be seen in Project K. Directed by Nag Ashwin, it is a bilingual film and also has Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. The actor is also a part of Ribhu Dasgupta’s next courtroom drama film Section 84. Apart from this, Big B will mark a special appearance in Ganapath.
