Alia Bhatt gets called Aishwarya Rai Bachchan by American paparazzi at Met Gala 2023

The gorgeous Alia Bhatt made her Met Gala 2023 debut on Monday. The actress was a vision in white, however, she was confused for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan by a media person. 

While the Dear Zindagi star looked like a pro on the red carpet, a video of the actress being mistaken for Aishwarya is now going viral on social media platforms. The video was shared by fans on Twitter. In the viral video, we can see Alia posing on the iconic steps of the Met Gala when a photographer was heard calling for her attention. Unfortunately, they called her Aishwarya instead of Alia. A photographer was heard telling, “Aishwarya, this way.”

Although the mistake was embarrassing, the Dear Zindagi star did not let it affect her. She gracefully looked at the cameras and smiled before making her way into the event.

Reacting to the viral video, one of the Twitter users wrote, “They are taking revenge for Jhandeya and Tommy.” Another wrote, “American paps taking their “yeh shakira hai kya” revenge.” A third user wrote, “Well damn, this really was a reality check for Alia. Hollywood really don’t know of her existence.”
