Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar postpones the release of his film trailer “OMG 2″ as a mark of respect for the demise of art director Nitin Desai, who died on 2 August, Wednesday.
Taking it to Twitter Mr. Kumar wrote, “Unbelievably sad to know about the demise of Nitin Desai. He was a stalwart in production design and such a big part of our cinema fraternity. He worked on so many of my films… this is a huge loss. Out of respect, we are not releasing the OMG 2 trailer today. Will launch it tomorrow at 11 am. Om Shanti”.
Here’s what Akshay Kumar tweeted
“OMG 2” serves as the follow-up to the 2012 hit “OMG,” which also featured Akshay Kumar in a pivotal role. However, the sequel sees some changes in the cast lineup. Paresh Rawal, an integral part of the original film, won’t be returning for this sequel. In a shift, the franchise welcomes Pankaj Tripathi to its ranks. Yami Gautam is another notable addition, taking on a significant role in the movie. The film has received an ‘Adults Only’ certification.
