Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh accorded Z category security

Recently, the Punjab government had pruned half of the security of Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh, but in view of the situation in Punjab, the central government has provided Z category security to Akal Takht Chief Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh.

Singh will be provided with this security by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel. Official orders have been issued in this regard. Six officers of the Punjab police were deployed for the security of Singh, which was reduced to three by the Punjab government.

Angry with the Punjab government, Singh said that after this decision they are also returning the remaining three security personnel back to the state government because they do not want protection from the state government. The youth of Punjab is enough for their safety.

Now recently, the central government has deployed the CRPF under his protection. Soon CRPF personnel will take over the security of Singh.
