Air pollution sparks political tensions between Haryana & Delhi

Due to extreme pollution In the National capital Delhi, people are suffocating and are forced to stay at home. More or less, the situation is similar in around a dozen districts of Haryana and particularly in Faridabad and Gurugram districts adjacent to Delhi, the scenario continues to remain worsen. On the other hand, politics has also heated regarding this entire matter. Like earlier, Delhi and Haryana are eyeball to eyeball pertaining to the increasing air pollution in Delhi. In continuation to this Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is accusing Haryana for the increased pollution there, while on the other hand, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal and many party leaders have made it clear that if the cases in Haryana are negligible then how can we be responsible for it. Everyone also agrees that the there is a considerable decrease in cases of stubble burning in Haryana and Delhi needs to brainstorm somewhere to control the pollution there.
Weather experts have claimed that from November 10, north-westerly winds will blow at moderate speed which is likely to reduce the pollution level significantly. The experts are also of the opinion that during this period, there is a possibility of a slight increase in the maximum temperature of the day in the state along with a decline in the minimum temperature of the night. Prof Madan Khichar, an expert, Agricultural Meteorology Department of Haryana Agricultural University, has claimed that on 7th November a weak western disturbance will move towards the mountains, after which easterly winds will blow on 8th and 9th November, which may cause partly cloudy sky. Due to this, there will be mild heat during the day and cold at night. Further, he said that this is due to weak western disturbance moving towards the mountains and easterly winds have started blowing at a slow pace which is most likely to result in an increase in moisture in the atmosphere.
Regarding the increasing pollution in the country, BJP MLA from Panipat in Haryana, Pramod Vij has posted controversial social media post on Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal containing his pic with smiling smiling placed on the India Gate and school children exposed to pollution. In the caption of video, he wrote – “The demon polluter who killed Delhi… Arvind Kejriwal.”
