AFTER 3 MLAS GET THREATS, HOODA DEMANDS PROPER SECURITY FOR THEM

After having a glance at the ongoing law and order scenario in Haryana, what comes to fore that be it commoners, businessmenartists or legislators, no one seems safe as gangsters are threatening all for ransom. Three MLAs in Haryana have received threats in the last few days. It’s a matter of serious concern. Former CM and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda has demanded proper security for the three MLAs.

The issue of law and order situation continues to add to the woes of police department requiring them to come up with full proof strategy to nab and tighten the noose around the neck of hard core criminals.

Recently, a BJP MLA Sanjay Singh filed a complaint to police saying that he had received threats from an associate of the notorious Neeraj Bawana gang with a demand for Rs 5 lakh and got an extortion message on WhatApp. Following this, he lodged another police complaint alleging that he received two threats messages that threatened him with dire consequences if he did not pay Rs 5 lakh to the Bawana gang. Regarding this, an FIR was registered under sections 506, 384 and 387 of the IPC. Apart from this, two of the Congress MLAs named Renu Bala and Surendra Pawar had been threatened by miscreants. Such incidents bring the state police under scanner.

Thus, the state continues to witness a spurt in extortion calls with a string of callers using names of gangsters Bawana, Lawrence Bishnoi and Kala Jatheri and many more.

Pertaining to this, former CM and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda has stated that the law and order situation has completely collapsed under the BJP-JJP government and made it a stronghold of criminals. Further he said that no one is safe in the state, neither common man nor MLA. Hooda demanded proper security for all the MLAs and action against those who have been threatened.

Apart from aforesaid, film producer and real estate businessman Jagbir Singh had received a threat call demanding Rs 2 crore as extortion money and he was threatened by two miscreants saying that if he does not pay the money, he must leave the city as soon as possible. Besides, the notorious elements are active at large scale in Gurugram, Faridabad, Rohtak, Sonipat, Jhajjar, and many more, especially during the last few months. Mushrooming of hardcore criminals at such scale is an alarming situation and the police department is required control the worsening situation.
