The injured leg
And the paining knee;
Not strong enough
To stop the crazy me.
I have miles to go for 100 Days;
Rain, sunshine or storm
Come What May!
The hilltop you see
Down from the valley;
That›s my zenith,
Not these streets or Alley.
Not a marathoner, sprinter
Or running for gold
This is my life›s battles;
My personal goal.
Calling you, the one,
Running away from life;
Smell the coffee; tie your laces;
Join me to feel alive!
Because even when the odds
Are against 10 to 1
Together we can do it One more kilometre we run!
(A humble feeling of taking part in 100 Days
of Running Challenge with the group
The Run Club that has members who run
despite the challenge of a prosthetic
leg…..and inspire non-runners like me)
