An engineering professor at the age of 41 was found dead in Bengaluru on Monday with a suicide note.
She has been identified as Chaitra Hk, and lived in Jnanajyotinagar, West Bengaluru.
According to the reports, she did not hold anyone responsible for the suicide, but her health issues had forced her to kill herself. She reportedly hanged herself when her husband Guruprasad, along with their two children, was away to a relative’s house at Haveri.
Guruprasad had told the media that he tried reaching out to his wife throughout Sunday and the early hours of the next day but could not get any response. Guruprasd asked the tenants to check on Chaita, who found her dead body.
The case of unnatural death has been registered by the police and they are investigating the case further.
