The Punjab Government’s new office hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. went into effect today in all government offices across the state.
The schedules for government offices have been modified, according to Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Surbhi Malik. Malik further stated that around 9 a.m. today, all officers and personnel arrived in the Deputy Commissioner’s office. “In Punjab, once again the timings of government offices have been changed from 9 am to 5 pm. Officers and staff reached the Deputy Commissioner’s office at 9 am. On the orders of the state government, the earlier timings were from 7:30 am to 2 pm and today once again the old timings have been implemented,” said Malik.
