8 Committees Formed To Pass Budget In Haryana

Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Gian Chand Gupta has constituted eight ad-hoc committees of members of the Vidhan Sabha to pass the budget on the lines of Lok Sabha, in which 75 MLAs have been nominated as Chairmen and Members. According to a notification to this effect issued by the Vidhan Sabha Secretariat, Deputy Speaker, Sh. Ranbir Singh Gangwa will be the Chairman of Committee-1, while Leader of Opposition, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, MLA Kuldeep Vishnoi, MLA, Abhay Singh Chautala, MLA, Ghanshyam Sarraf, MLA, Dura Ram, MLA, Gopal Kanda, MLA, Deepak Mangla, MLA, Jogi Ram and MLA, Dharampal Gondar will be its members. Committee-1 will submit its report to the House for the approval of the budget after deliberation over demand number 1 related to Vidhan Sabha, demand number 2 related to Governor and Council of Ministers, demand number 3 related to General Administration, demand number 13 related to health, demand number 36 related to home, demand number 42 related to justice administration and demand number 43 related to prison.

Similarly, Ad-hoc Committee-2 will deliberate on various demands under the chairmanship of MLA, Aseem Goel. Jaibir Singh, MLA, Dharampal Dhanda, MLA, Subhash Sudha, MLA, Mohan Lal Badoli, MLA, Nirmal Rani and Renu Bala, MLA, Shamsher Singh Gogi, MLA, Varun Chaudhary and MLA, Nayan Pal Rawat will be its members. This committee, will submit its report to the House for the approval of the budget after deliberation over demand number 4 related to Revenue, demand number 40 related to Energy and Electricity, demand number 5 related to Excise and Taxation, demand number 8 related to Buildings and Roads, demand number 6 related to Finance, demand number 7 related to Planning and Statistics, demand number 33 related to Cooperative and demand number 45 related to Loans and will discuss the advances of the State Government.

Committee-3 has been constituted under the chairmanship of MLA, Geeta Bhukkal. MLA, Sh. Harvinder Kalyan, MLA, Vinod Bhayana, MLA, Aftab Ahmed, MLA, Naina Singh Chautala, MLA, Sitaram Yadav, MLA, Amit Sihag, MLA, Indu Raj Narwal and MLA, Rakesh Daulatabad have been nominated as members of this committee. This committee will work on demand number 11 related to Sports and Youth Welfare, demand number 10 related to Technical Education, and demand number 12 Art and Culture.

Similarly, Committee-4 constituted under the chairmanship of MLA, Ishwar Singh. MLA, Mohd. Ilyas, MLA, Shakuntala Khatak, MLA, Bishan Lal Saini, MLA, Bishamber Singh, MLA, Laxman Napa, MLA, Satya Prakash Jarawta, MLA, Balbir Singh, MLA, Subhash Gangol and MLA, Surendra Panwar have been nominated as its members. This committee will deliberate over demand number 17 related to Employment, demand number 27 related to Ex-Servicemen Welfare, demand number 44 related to Printing and Stationery, demand number 19 related to Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare, demand number 20 related to Social Security and Welfare, and demand number 21 related to Women and Child Development.

MLA, Seema Trikha will be the chairperson of Committee-5 and as members, MLA, Rao Dan Singh, MLA, Dharam Singh Chhokkar, MLA, Dr. Krishan Lal Middha, MLA, Sanjay Singh, MLA, Sudhir Kumar Singla, MLA, Chiranjeev Rao, MLA, Kuldeep Vats and MLA, Randhir Singh Golan have been included. This committee will look into the demand number 14 related to Urban Development, demand number 24 related to Irrigation, demand number 15 related to Local Government, demand number 18 related to Industrial Training.
