The University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), is all set to host the 7th National Law Fest- Arguendo, a prestigious platform where legal minds converge to showcase their prowess and talent. The event is scheduled to take place from 14th to 16th March, 2024. It promises to be a dynamic arena for legal discourse and competition. Arguendo will witness the participation of approximately 120 teams from across the nation, competing in three flagship national competitions:

1st Shri. G.K. Chatrath Memorial National Moot Court Competition
4th Justice A.S. Anand National Mediation and Negotiation Competition
National Quiz – ‘CivilSavvy’-1.0

The winning teams and students will be awarded prizes by Justice Surya Kant, Judge Supreme Court of India, has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest for the Valedictory Ceremony; Justice A.G. Masih, Judge Supreme Court of India, will be the distinguished Guest of Honour; and Justice G.S. Sandhawalia, Acting Chief Justice, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, will be the Guest of Honour. Various other dignitaries i.e. Judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Senior Advocates and Academicians will also be present at the final ceremony. The Final Rounds of the competitions will be judged by Justice Deepak Sibal; Justice Anupinder Grewal; and Justice Harpreet Brar along with Gurminder Singh, Advocate General Punjab; Atul Lakhanpal; and Akshay Bhan.

The final rounds of the Quiz competition will be judged by Urvashi Gulati, former Chief Secretary, Haryana; and Shivdular Singh, retd. IAS. The preliminary rounds for the competitions have been conducted in the online mode. The quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final rounds will be held in UILS and will be judged by eminent advocates.
