In Barnala, there’s been a recent revelation of a homicide involving a 60-year-old man within the premises of a newly constructed hotel along the Barnala-Bathinda National Highway. This occurrence has stirred up a commotion in the nearby vicinity. The victim, identified as Mahendra Singh from Hamirgarh, Haryana, served as a night watchman at the hotel.

Sandeep, the hotel proprietor, mentioned that construction had been ongoing at the hotel for the past few months. The deceased, his maternal uncle, had spent the night there during the hotel’s construction and was subjected to a brutal murder. The hotel’s mechanic, upon arriving in the morning, notified the owner about the incident.

A forensic team and the Barnala DSP are actively investigating the case. DSP Satveer Singh stated that the hotel owner hails from Sangrur and that his relative had suffered a gruesome murder the previous night. The investigation is comprehensive. Based on Sandeep Gill’s statements, a case has been filed, and inquiries have commenced. Currently, he’s urging the police authorities to swiftly apprehend the perpetrators.
