Extinct Fish a 66-Million-Years was found on a South African Fishing Boat

Have you ever heard the story of someone of being reappeared some years later and who was presumed dead? It is shocking but a very much not extinct fish that supposedly died off 66 million years ago until it was discovered on a fishing boat. Over 410 million years Coelacanth fossils date back it was 66 million years back but honestly, 344 million years is a great run for any fish. Earlier in 1938, a natural history museum in South Africa’s curator got a call that a fishing trawler came into port that she might be interested in picking through for interesting specimens where she found an unusual blue-finned creature that was five feet long.

Graphene has been called the ‘wonder material of the future’ which can change the world. Graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms and its strength and electrical properties. It has incredible potential to change many kinds of industries. Accidently this miracle substance was discovered by a guy while he was playing with tape. For discovering graphene Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov won the Nobel Prize in physics.

Male Blanket Octopuses

In the world, there are around 300 species of octopus in which and some of them are more obscure than others. In the 1800s the unusual blanket octopus was discovered but they were females until 2002. In 2002 male blanket octopuses were finally found.

Mount Mabu was discovered on Google Earth

Every place in the world has already been discovered, by someone or other but, the entirely rainforest-covered Mount Mabu in Mozambique was only discovered by outsiders in 2005. A massive 27 square miles of rainforest is the most significant plot of land to have been overlooked for so long. The local people were aware of the place but scientists and geographers simply had no idea at all. Suing Google Earth Biologist Julian Bayliss discovered this place.

Roopkund Lake

Roopkund Lake is located 5,029 meters in the state of Uttarakhand above sea level. During patrolling British forest ranger 1956 discovered the place “lake of skeletons”. The skeletons are not visible all the time it is visible when the snow melts. The local government describes it as a “mystery lake” as there are skeletal remains of an estimated 600-800 people.
