Mumbai police on Tuesday said that a 47-year-old woman was found dead in a hotel room in Mumbai.
Soon after getting the information, the police found a woman unconscious at the crime spot.
“A call was received at Malwani PS yesterday (Tuesday) that a 47-year-old woman who was staying in a hotel with a man was found in a unconscious state. She was immediately shifted to a hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead,” the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Vishal Thakur said.
During the investigation, police found that on Monday night, the duo checked into the hotel room and had an argument in which the man killed the woman.
Moreover, the police have held the accused man and confessed to the police that he strangled the woman to death.
Furthermore, the investigation into the matter is underway, the DCP said.
