A Punjab Armed Police bus and a tractor collided at Mukeria in the Hoshiarpur district of Punjab, resulting in three fatalities and multiple injuries, including a female police officer, according to police. The incident occurred at approximately six in the morning, according to Mukeria Police Station Chief Joginder Singh. The Punjab Armed Police personnel were being transported by bus from Jalandhar at approximately six in the morning. On the side of the road, it struck a trailer.
The driver, a woman constable, and another policeman have lost their lives. 3 to 4 other policemen are injured. A bus full of 15-20 policemen was going from Jalandhar PAP centre to Gurdaspur, Joginder Singh said.
