2022: Loss of Moosewala, a year of terrorism, gangsterism and smuggling dominated in Punjab

Year 2022 has been quite a challenge for Punjabis and Punjab Police as the nexus of terrorists-gangsters and drug smugglers dominated the state. New challenges kept arising before the Punjab Police, in the midst of all this, international level singer Sidhu Moosewala, Kabaddi player Sandeep Nangal Ambian got killed by gangsters. The Punjab police could not even save their own Police station as an RPG attack was carried out on the intelligence agency headquarters in Mohali and Sarhali police station in a mere gap of 8 months.

This year Pakistani intelligence agency ISI changed its way of targeting India through Punjab’s border. It engaged teenagers in gangsterism and terrorism and also engaged young lads in the heroin business. With every stash of heroin, weapons were sent to Punjab.
