In a horrifying incident, two young brothers who had been abducted from the Rajasthani region of Bhiwadi on Monday were found dead in the Mehrauli neighbourhood of New Delhi on Tuesday. Three days ago, the siblings were kidnapped from Bhiwadi’s Santhalka village.
The deceased have been identified as brothers Vipin (8) and Aman (13). The deaths of two minors have been confirmed by Bhiwadi Police. Shiva, a 7-year-old boy who is the third missing brother, is yet to be found, according to the police.
Two men have been apprehended by police in connection with the investigation. A man from Uttar Pradesh named Gyan Singh reported the kidnapping of his three sons on Saturday.
The police finally filed a FIR after the arrest of two people on Sunday. The two bodies were found after the accused were taken into custody.
Gyan Singh claims that he received a call requesting an 8-lakh-rupee ransom.
“A crime team from Bhiwadi came to Mehrauli and started searching for the boys. After the information from the suspects, two bodies were found,” a report in Indian Express quoted Chandan Chowdhary, DCP (South) as saying.
According to reports, the two defendants admitted to killing the two minors and dumping their bodies in the woodland region behind Qutub Minar Metro station.
