The Rouse Avenue Court will pronounce judgment in the case on August 29, 2023. The court said that it will take more time to write the verdict. Cham Kaur, a CBI witness in the Sultanpuri riots, had said that Sajjan Kumar was instigating the mob during the riots. In July 2010, the Karkardooma court framed charges against Sajjan Kumar, Brahmanand, Peru, Kushal Singh and Ved Prakash in connection with the killing of six people in Sultanpuri during the anti-Sikh riots.
