In the capital Jaipur, incidents of rape and murder are not stopping. The latest incident is from Friday night. Allegedly, two motorbike riders kidnapped a 14-year-old minor girl who was roaming outside her house, and afterwards, they administered intoxicants and carried out the heinous rape incident.
The police arrested two accused of rape on Saturday. According to the police, the incident happened on Friday night. The accused, Mohan Lal and Raju, abducted the girl near the Rinyuwal area in Jaipur when she was outside her house. According to DSP Anup, as per the FIR, the accused came on a two-wheeler and forcibly took the girl away on their bike.
After that, the accused took the girl to their residence in the Bisnagad-Manoharpur area. There, the victim was administered intoxicants, and she was forcefully raped. The victim informed the police that Mohan Lal had raped her. Meanwhile, Raju assisted Mohan Lal in the abduction and later helped him drop the minor back to her home.
DSP Singh said that the victim and her father filed a complaint of abduction and rape with the police on the same night. Afterwards, the police registered a case under Section 376 (rape) of the IPC and the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, initiating an investigation. A medical examination of the victim has been conducted, and the accused are being interrogated. The police will make every effort to ensure strict punishment for the offenders.
