13-day rail traffic disruption expected on Ludhiana-Firozpur track; multiple train services affected

The Ludhiana-Firozpur track is expected to have an impact on rail traffic for 13 days. It is reported that the rail department is taking a traffic block between Badhowal and Mullampur stations on the Ludhiana-Firozpur rail section. Due to this, rail traffic on this track will be affected for 13 days.

According to the information released by the department, trains numbered 04464 and 04997 will be completely canceled from January 7th to January 19th. Train number 06982 and 04625 will be canceled on January 19th. Due to this block, the train number 19612 running between Amritsar and Ajmer will be redirected from Jalandhar to Lohian Khas-Firozpur Cantt instead of sending it from Jalandhar to Ludhiana on January 9, 11, 16, and 18. During these days, this train will not stop at stations like Phagwara, Ludhiana, Jagraon, Moga, and Talwandi Bhai.

The intercity express running between Moga-New Delhi-Moga will be terminated at Ludhiana Railway Station and returned to New Delhi on January 8, 12, 15, and 19. The passenger train number 06982 running between Firozpur and Ludhiana will depart with a delay of 90 minutes from January 7th to January 19th.
