BJP Parliamentary meeting begins in the library

The BJP’s parliamentary meeting is to begin on Thursday morning in the library of Parliament.

Union Minister Rajnath Singh is chairing the meeting and several other leaders of the Bhartiya Janta Party were seen arriving. Ashwini Vaishnaw, S Jaishankar, Anurag Thakur, and Prahlad Joshi, along with JP Nadda, were spotted arriving for a meeting in the Parliament Library.

Notably, a number of sessions have been adjourned during the ongoing Monsoon Session in both Houses of Parliament on a variety of subjects, from price rise concerns to the arrest of Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case.

The Upper house is scheduled to discuss the issue of price rise in today’s session. Meanwhile, the Family Court Bill Act 2022 will also be discussed for amendment by the government.

The protests by the opposition has already been disrupting the sessions consequently leading to the suspension of the MPs. The suspension of four MPs was revoked on Monday on a condition that they will not be found carrying Placards to the parliament.

Additionally, MP Shashi Tharoor claimed that the government was truly conceited about its overwhelming majority and that it didn’t seem to need to make accommodation disapproving of the voices of the opposition’s.
