The political turmoil in Uttar Pradesh BJP doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. the internal factions in BJP seem to have given a ray of hope to dwell upon to the opposition. The opposition, particularly the SP, is banking on BJP’s internal conflicts and the inclusion of Rashtriya Lok Dal in the government. However, following the general budget, there appears to be little change expected in Uttar Pradesh politics. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s directive to list shop owners obstructing the Kanwar Yatra initially drew dissatisfaction from RLD leader Jayant Chaudhary, but the situation shifted after the Supreme Court’s ruling. Despite this, Samajwadi Party leaders continue to stir UP politics with remarks about Chaudhary and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya.
In the current political landscape of Uttar Pradesh, Jayant Chaudhary finds himself constrained within the NDA alliance due to his representation with just two MPs in the Lok Sabha, limiting his impact. The opposition has consistently sought to unsettle him, even during Narendra Modi’s ascension as NDA leader, highlighting his absence from prominent stages. Questions have also arisen regarding his state ministerial role and portfolio assignment, indicating a strategy by the opposition to maintain instability within the NDA in Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile, SP leader Akhilesh Yadav continues to fuel political tensions with provocative statements, indirectly supported by Congress, aiming to challenge the ruling dispensation. However, the recent budget presentation on Tuesday may alter the political landscape in Uttar Pradesh, potentially quelling the atmosphere of uncertainty. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, buoyed by Delhi’s backing and strengthened by the budget’s political provisions, now appears to wield increased autonomy in his political maneuvers.
Despite the budget not offering significant allocations specific to Uttar Pradesh, the bolstering of the NDA alliance is expected to influence state dynamics. Delhi’s signal of support to leaders like Keshav Prasad Maurya suggests internal rifts are being addressed.
Sources indicate RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is poised to convene a crucial meeting with Uttar Pradesh leaders, initially slated for last Saturday but postponed, hinting at potential organizational directives on the horizon.

Any decisions regarding organizational changes are anticipated post by-elections, reflecting a strategic approach by the party leadership.
