Many chief ministers of the state went together to attend the dinner hosted by President Draupadi Murmu in honour of the heads of state and governments of the G-20 countries. At normal times, chief ministers are allowed to meet the dignitaries in their respective cars, along with their security and personal staff. But for attending the dinner, exceptional arrangements were made due to security reasons. All the CMs were asked to assemble in Parliament House, and after that, they were taken to the Bharat Mandapom venue in a Volvo bus. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Himachal Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sing Sukhu, , West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee went on the same bus. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar preferred another bus. Later, central ministers took a group photo with the Chief Minister and tweeted.But only Mamata was present for photo opportunity. Inside the venue, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Joe Biden, and Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina were at the high table. Mamta was sitting with the BJP chief ministers.

British PM misses relatives’ lunch
After becoming Prime Minister of the UK, Rishi Shunak came to India for the first time to attend the G-20 Summit in New Delhi. His Indian relatives were so excited that they arranged a lunch for him. In the lunch venue, Punjabi songs were kept to entertain him, and the venue was decorated with flowers in typical Punjabi wedding style. But the negotiations on the text of the declarations were so intense that he could not find time to attend the lunch. But when he visited the Akhhsardham Temple, some of them accompanied him, including his mother-in-law.

Spouses of head of state tasted millet
Spouses of heads of state and governments who have come to attend the G-20 summit in Delhi went to visit the Pusa Agricultuaral Research Institute. A group of farmers presented them with food items prepared from millet and gave them the recipe for those items. These farmers were specially invited from north Bengal. They are the residents of Chowdhury Hat Gram Panchayat in Dihata district.2023 has been declared an international millet year by India, and this year the government has taken many initiatives to popularise millet as an alternative food item.
