NEW DELHI: NCP Chief Sharad Pawar met Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi on Friday to strategize for the I.N.D.I.A. opposition alliance. In a 40-minute discussion, they reviewed the current political landscape and devised plans for the upcoming elections to challenge the BJP. They also planned their next I.N.D.I.A. bloc meeting. Kharge emphasised their readiness with the tagline, “Judega Bharat, Jeetega I.N.D.I.A.”.
The recent meet followed the cancellation of the I.N.D.I.A. alliance’s public gathering in Bhopal earlier in October. Sources hint the next I.N.D.I.A. meeting might be in West Bengal.
