The political cauldron of Uttar Pradesh started to boil once again ahead of the Lok Sabha polls of 2024 when Omprakash Rajbhar, President of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSJ), surprised everyone by meeting Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. Later, he wished to join the NDA alliance which was accepted by the union minister. Before him, Samajwadi Party leader Dara Singh Chauhan had resigned from the membership of Uttar Pradesh assembly.
Amit Shah tweeted about meeting OP Rajbhar in Delhi. He said that OP Rajbhar’s decision to join the NDA alliance led by PM Modi is correct. This will also strengthen the NDA. Amit Shah wrote, “OP met Rajbhar ji in Delhi and he decided to join the NDA alliance led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I welcome him to the NDA family. The arrival of Rajbhar ji will strengthen the NDA in Uttar Pradesh and the efforts being made by the NDA under the leadership of Modi ji for the welfare of the poor and downtrodden will get further strength.”Thus, it has become clear that Om Prakash Rajbhar of Soheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party has now joined the NDA. Om Prakash Rajbhar joined the Samajwadi Party in the assembly elections, but this alliance did not last long, the seat-sharing issue with the SP turned sour and he parted ways. Home Minister Amit Shah said, taking to Twitter. On joining the NDA alliance, Subhaspa President OP Rajbhar said that both the Bharatiya Janata Party and SBSJ will strive to boost the country’s defence-security, good governance, deprived, oppressed, backward, dalits, women, farmers, youth and every weaker section.
