On Tuesday, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Parliamentary Board would finalize and issue the list of candidates for the state’s upcoming Assembly elections on April 8.
The Chief Minister stated that the candidates were chosen based on their potential to win. Karnataka will hold Assembly elections on May 10 and ballot counting will take place on May 13.
