According to an official release, the new Telangana Secretariat, named after Dr. BR Ambedkar, will be inaugurated on April 30.
The decision was made on Wednesday evening during a review conference presided over by chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao. The Secretariat building will be dedicated at the auspicious moment determined by Vedic experts. The time will be announced shortly, as per the statement

CM KCR will first remain in his chambers soon after the inauguration. Later, the ministers, secretaries, CMO staff, and other secretariat personnel will enter their chambers.
The inauguration will be attended by ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs, state-level corporation chairmen, HODs of all departments, collectors of all districts, SPs, zila parishad chairmen, DCCB, DCMMs chairmen, zila library chairmen, zila rythubandhu samiti presidents, municipal mayors, and others.
According to the statement, different security measures have been implemented in the new secretariat, where approximately 2500 people are expected to attend the event.
The Secretariat has four major entrances. The North and West gates will only be unlocked when necessary. Secretariat personnel, secretaries, and officers will enter through the northeast gate.

The southeast gate is only for guests. The secretariat is open from 3 to 5 p.m., as per the announcement.
The chief minister, CS, DGP, ministers, MLAs, MLCs, MPs, the Chairman, important invitees, and foreign guests use the east entrance (Main entrance).
Electrical vehicles will be supplied for the disabled and elderly. It stated that private cars are not permitted in the Secretariat.
The DGP will develop protocols and implement security measures to ensure the Secretariat’s safety, it added.
