The BJP leaders welcomed this budget and called it a roadmap for developed Rajasthan. Whereas, Congress leaders have called it a copy-paste of the Centre’s schemes and a speech read on old schemes.
A lot of verbal sparring was seen in the national parties during and after the budget.

Leader of Opposition Tikaram Jully has also targeted the BJP regarding the budget. He asked, “What MoU the Chief Minister has signed with Madhya Pradesh. This has not been disclosed even today. They compare the Chiranjeevi Yojana with Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Whereas in Chiranjeevi the treatment costs up to Rs 25 lakh. 5 lakhs in Ayushman Yojana. They changed the name of Chiranjeevi. We are saying it ourselves that change the names of our schemes, but do not stop them in the public interest. Even on OPS, this government has not made its stand clear. Even on this, his intention is not clear.”

Budget is misleading: Pilot
Sachin Pilot said, “The people of the state have been waiting for the reduction in VAT rates of petrol and diesel for the last two months, but it was not mentioned anywhere in the Vote on Account. This is an attack on the interests of the people of the state and in the assembly elections. Proves the claims of reducing inflation made by BJP false.”

MLA Rohit Bohra said not a single new recruitment
Congress MLA Rohit Bohra said, “The recruitments of our government were pending. With them, they are going to complete the figure of 70 thousand. Not a single new recruitment has been announced. A speech has been given only on what the Congress government has done. Our shortcomings were pointed out, but our vision was not given…Farmers have been cheated by stopping the Rs 5 subsidy on milk. In return, the benefits to farmers in the name of Gopalan Credit Card have been reduced.”

MLA Harish Chaudhary said, nothing for villages, farmers and youth
Congress MLA Harish Chaudhary said, “Before today’s Vote on Account, the message was given that only investors will be VIPs in Rajasthan. Today’s budget is for those investors only. This is the misfortune of the common people of Rajasthan. The land tax belongs to big people, hi-tech city belongs to big people.

There is nothing in this budget for villages, farmers and youth. There is nothing for Rajasthan and Rajasthan as a whole. This budget is not a Cabinet-approved budget.
