Vaping Horror: 2 Litres Of Black Fluid Removed From US Woman’s Lungs

An Ohio woman, Jordan Brielle, is recovering after being placed in a medically induced coma due to severe health complications linked to her vaping addiction. The 32-year-old, who had been vaping heavily for two years, had two liters of “black and bloody” fluid removed from her lungs, a dramatic outcome of her habit. Brielle’s story highlights the growing concerns over the health risks associated with vaping, particularly among young adults.

Addiction to Vaping

Brielle, who initially began smoking as a teenager, switched to vaping in 2021, believing it to be a safer alternative. However, she quickly became hooked. “I was totally addicted,” she shared, adding that her vaping habit became so severe that she spent up to $500 a week on vape products. “I slept with it and even took it into the shower,” she admitted.

Despite recognizing how vaping was taking over her life, Brielle continued the habit until it led to a serious health crisis.

Health Issues Escalate

In November of last year, Brielle started feeling a “heaviness” in her lungs, which was initially misdiagnosed as a respiratory infection. Her symptoms worsened over time, including persistent coughing and difficulty breathing. Despite several visits to the hospital, she was repeatedly sent home with no significant improvement. “It felt like there were 80 pounds of pressure lying on my chest,” she recalled. “I’d never felt so sick in my life.”

Her condition took a turn for the worse when her boyfriend found her unconscious, with “black mucus coming out of her mouth and nose.” He immediately called 911, and paramedics rushed her to the hospital, where doctors removed toxic substances from her lungs.

A Life-Saving Intervention

Brielle’s condition was so critical that she was placed in a medically induced coma. The fluid buildup in her lungs was linked to her extensive vaping. “I wouldn’t wish what I’ve been through on anyone else,” Brielle said, now grateful to be alive.

Her story serves as a stark warning about the dangers of vaping, with experts raising alarms about its long-term health risks.

A Wake-Up Call for Vapers

Jordan Brielle’s terrifying ordeal underscores the potential dangers of vaping, a habit that has become increasingly common, especially among young adults. Her experience offers a sobering reminder of the serious health risks associated with the practice. “I’m just grateful to be alive,” she reflected, urging others to reconsider the potential consequences of vaping.
