New York, United States: The hip-hop world is mourning the loss of US rapper Fatman Scoop, who tragically passed away at 53 after collapsing on stage during a performance at Hamden Town Center Park, Connecticut. Best known for his hit tracks “Be Faithful” and “It Takes Scoop,” the artist was rushed to the hospital where doctors were unable to revive him.

Medical Emergency on Stage

During his performance, Fatman Scoop suddenly collapsed, shocking the audience. Medical staff quickly responded, attempting to administer CPR on the stage itself. A video obtained by celebrity news site TMZ shows the rapper being carried away on a stretcher, but despite efforts, he could not be saved.
