In a peculiar turn of events, a gang of burglars has been making headlines in Noida’s Sector 82 for their unusual post-robbery behavior. Instead of making a quick escape after their criminal activities, these thieves have been indulging in cooking pakoras and enjoying other culinary delights in their victims’ kitchens.

Reports indicate that the gang has been targeting multiple residences in the area, absconding with valuables worth lakhs. In one instance, the burglars stole jewelry valued at Rs 3 lakh from the home of Richa Bajpai in Sector 25. Not content with just the theft, the gang made themselves at home by smoking beedis, consuming paan, and leaving traces of their presence, including empty water bottles and spit in the bathroom.

The unusual modus operandi of these thieves has left the local community unsettled. Following the complaints, the police have initiated an investigation. Deputy Superintendent of Police Hridesh Katheria confirmed that a special task force has been assembled to apprehend the culprits.

The brazen thefts have led to a surge in anxiety among the residents of Sector 82, with reports stating that six homes were robbed in a single day. As a result, many locals are now securing their homes and avoiding going out, fearing further incidents.

The police are urging anyone with information about the gang to come forward as they intensify their efforts to capture the perpetrators and restore peace to the affected neighborhoods.
