Pune Police have stated that there is no evidence connecting NCP MLA Sunil Tingre to the high-profile luxury car accident that resulted in the deaths of two motorcyclists. The Crime Branch is actively investigating the Porsche Car Accident and has arrested two doctors from Sassoon Hospital, who are currently in police custody.

The police have detained Dr. Ajay Taware, Head of the Forensic Medicine Department, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Srihari Halnor, and another staff member, Atul Ghatkamble, for allegedly tampering with blood samples of the minor accused involved in the crash. The district court has remanded the trio to police custody until May 30.

Amidst media speculation of a call exchange between Dr. Taware and MLA Tingre after the incident on May 20, senior police officials confirmed that no such connection has been established. “We have not found any call records between these two individuals during our investigation,” a police official told ANI on Tuesday.

The police are currently probing the details surrounding the blood sample swap and tracing the financial transactions involved. “We are trying to determine with whom the blood samples were swapped and how much money Dr. Taware received or was promised by the minor’s father,” the official added. So far, authorities have recovered ₹3 lakh, with ₹2.5 lakh from Dr. Srihari Halnor and ₹50,000 from Atul Ghatkamble.

The Pune District Court has also sent the father and grandfather of the minor accused to police custody until May 31. Meanwhile, a three-member committee led by Mumbai JJ Hospital Dean Dr. Pallavi Saple has arrived in Pune to investigate the allegations against the doctors. “We conducted an inquiry today, met with concerned officers, and gathered detailed information from the hospital. After our inquiry, we will file a report with the state government, which will then take appropriate action. The details of our inquiry remain confidential,” Dr. Saple informed the media.

The minor accused, initially granted bail, has been detained at an observation home until June 5 by order of the Juvenile Justice Board. Pune Police Commissioner confirmed that efforts are underway to try the minor as an adult. He also noted that there was an attempt to frame another individual as the driver of the Porsche at the time of the accident, and police are investigating this claim.

As the investigation continues, Pune Police are focused on uncovering all aspects of this Porsche Car Accident case, including potential evidence tampering and financial corruption.
