In a case linked to the radicalization and recruitment of innocent youth into the Communist Party of India (Maoist), the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet against five persons.
Meanwhile, before a special court at Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, the chargesheet was filed by an anti-terror agency against five accused.
Under the leadership of underground Maoists, RK (since deceased) Uday and Aruna the accused person Dongari Devendra, Dubasi Swapna, and Chukka Shilpa motivated Radha to join the Chaitanya Mahila Sangham (CMS).
Moreover, the accused persons Dongari Devendra, Dubasi Swapna, and Chukka Shilpa attracted the girls to the organization.
According to the agency, “Dongari Devendra, Dubasi Swapna, and Chukka Shilpa had recruited few other girls to the CPI (Maoist) and had attempted to recruit many others.”
Under the pretext of rendering medical assistance, Radha was taken by Devendra to someone to coerce her to join the proscribed organization.
“The role of the CMS, an organization, and other leaders of CMS, in the larger conspiracy, is being probed into,” the agency said.
However, by Peddabayalu Police Station the case was registered and on 3 June NIA registered the case.
