According to the information received, Harvinder Singh Rinda, had planned this attack before his death. As the matter is related to terrorism, the NIA has also started its investigation. It is informed that a team of NIA visited Sarhali Police Station on Sunday. Along with the investigation of the Punjab Police, the NIA will also monitor the investigation.
After this incident, the Punjab Police transferred the SHO of Police Station Sarhali. SHO Prakash Singh who was posted at the police station has been removed. At the same time, new SHO Sukhbir Singh has been appointed in the police station.
