New Delhi [India], April 07: India is confronting a health crisis that does not spread through infection, yet affects millions silently and relentlessly. Non‑communicable diseases (NCDs) such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, cancer, and chronic respiratory illnesses now account for the majority of deaths in the country. Unlike communicable diseases, these conditions develop gradually, often without obvious symptoms, and are frequently diagnosed only after irreversible damage has already been done.
According to the World Health Organization, non‑communicable diseases were responsible for at least 43 million deaths globally in 2021. In India, the numbers are even more alarming. A recent government explainer based on the Economic Survey 2025–26 reported that NCDs accounted for 57 per cent of all deaths in the country between 2021 and 2023. The shift is unmistakable: India’s disease burden is no longer dominated by infections alone, but by lifestyle‑related and chronic illnesses that demand early detection and long‑term management.
A National Wake‑Up Call
The growing impact of NCDs has found reflection at the highest policy level. In the Union Budget 2026–27, the government formally acknowledged that India’s health challenges are increasingly shaped by diseases such as diabetes, cancer, and autoimmune disorders. The Budget also announced Biopharma SHAKTI, with an outlay of ₹10,000 crore over five years, underlining the importance of innovation, prevention, and healthcare preparedness.
At the same time, national screening efforts under the NCD programme have expanded rapidly, with more than 40 crore screenings each for hypertension and diabetes already conducted. Yet experts agree that screening numbers alone are not enough. The real challenge lies in reaching populations for whom access, affordability, and time remain major barriers.
Taking Healthcare Beyond Hospital Walls
In western Uttar Pradesh, Siddh Multispeciality Hospital has chosen to respond to this challenge by moving healthcare closer to where people live and work. Under the leadership of Dr Anurag Mehrotra, the hospital has launched a focused public‑health initiative centred on prevention, awareness, and early diagnosis of non‑communicable diseases.
At the heart of this effort is Swasth Suraksha Yatra, powered by Siddh Hospital’s Hospital on Wheels—a mobile healthcare unit designed to deliver essential diagnostics and screening services directly to villages, factories, and underserved communities.
“For most people, delaying a health check is not a choice—it is a compulsion,” says Dr Mehrotra. “Missing a day of work can mean losing wages. Travelling to a hospital can mean postponing care indefinitely. Our goal is to remove those barriers by taking healthcare to the people.”

Know Your Numbers: A Simple but Powerful Idea
Central to Siddh Hospital’s outreach is the Know Your Numbers campaign. The idea is simple yet transformative: every individual should know their key health indicators just as easily as they know their mobile number or Aadhaar number.
Under the campaign, individuals are encouraged to routinely track:

Their weight, Body Mass Index (BMI), and waist size, which together reflect obesity‑related risk
Blood pressure, a critical marker for heart disease and stroke
Blood sugar levels, essential for early detection and control of diabetes
Cholesterol levels, closely linked to long‑term cardiac health
Family risk score, indicating inherited vulnerability to NCDs
Average exercise duration, reflecting daily physical activity levels
Sleep time, vital for metabolic, hormonal, and cardiovascular balance
Screen time, increasingly associated with sedentary behaviour and lifestyle disorders

“NCDs are silent killers,” Dr Mehrotra explains. “They don’t always announce themselves with pain or emergencies. But if people know their numbers early, they can act early. Prevention begins with awareness, and awareness begins with knowing your numbers.”
World Health Day: Science as the First Line of Defence
Marking World Health Day, Dr Anurag Mehrotra reaffirmed the importance of evidence‑based medicine and scientific thinking in public health.
“On this World Health Day, we would like to dedicate ourselves as ambassadors of science—helping patients and communities through scientifically guided care, and showing why evidence saves lives,” he said.
The message captures the core philosophy of the Swasth Suraksha Yatra: informed decisions, guided by data and science, are essential to preventing disease, reducing complications, and saving lives at scale.
Hospital on Wheels: Access That Saves Time and Lives
Far more than a medical van, Siddh Hospital’s Hospital on Wheels functions as a mobile diagnostic and care unit. It is equipped with ECG, X‑ray, pathology testing, pulmonary function tests, echo support, ventilator support, ultrasound (where permitted), and integrated health‑education systems.
By entering factory premises, labour clusters, and villages, the initiative significantly reduces hidden healthcare costs such as travel, wage loss, and delayed diagnosis. According to hospital programme data, Siddh Hospital has conducted over 230 free medical camps and reached more than 20,000 people, turning preventive screening into a practical livelihood‑protection tool.
Looking Ahead
As India confronts the long‑term impact of lifestyle diseases, Siddh Hospital is expanding its footprint. Along with its base in Moradabad, the institution is launching Siddh Care in Greater Noida, extending preventive and specialised healthcare services to urban and semi‑urban populations.
Under Dr Anurag Mehrotra’s leadership, the Hospital on Wheels continues to evolve into a true Swasth Suraksha Yatra—carrying not just medical equipment, but a clear message for every household: know your numbers, know your risk, and act before disease takes control.
Expanding Preventive Care
Alongside its base in Moradabad, Siddh Hospital is expanding its services with the launch of Siddh Care in Greater Noida, extending preventive and specialised healthcare to urban and semi‑urban populations.
With the Swasth Suraksha Yatra, Siddh Hospital aims to reinforce a simple but powerful message for households across India: know your numbers, know your risk, and act before disease takes control.
About Siddh Multispeciality Hospital
Siddh Multispeciality Hospital is a leading healthcare institution focused on preventive, diagnostic, and specialised medical care. Through initiatives such as the Hospital on Wheels and the Know Your Numbers campaign, Siddh Hospital is committed to expanding access to scientifically guided healthcare across communities.

Rahasya – The Musical Project Creates a Powerful Fusion of Devotion and Youth Energy
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 07: Mumbai witnessed a vibrant and spiritually charged evening as the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Mumbai successfully organised one of the city’s largest Live Bhajan Jamming Concerts, bringing together thousands of Mumbaikars, including a significant number of youngsters, in a unique celebration of culture, music, and devotion.

The programme was also graced by the august presence of Cultural Minister Shri Ashish Shelar Ji, Hon’ble Mayor Smt Ritu Tawde, BMC Leader of the House Shri Ganesh Khankar Ji, along with noted actress Deepshikha Nagpal, Rajesh Shirvadkar, Pawan Tripathi, Sangeeta Kapure, Priyanka Bajaj, Siddharth Sibbal, Gaurav Sharma etc besides several other distinguished dignitaries and eminent personalities from various walks of public life, thereby lending further dignity and prominence to the occasion.
In a significant gesture of social responsibility, an amount of ₹10 lakhs was donated to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund during the event.
The event, curated by Emergence, featured Rahasya – The Musical Project (formerly Sadho The Band), which showcased a powerful blend of traditional bhajans with contemporary musical expression, creating an engaging and immersive musical experience.
The scale and participation at the event highlight BJYM Mumbai’s continued efforts to create meaningful youth engagement platforms, fostering cultural pride, spiritual connection, and community bonding in an increasingly fast-paced urban environment.

New Delhi: A noticeable absence of Sony’s PlayStation 5 (PS5) from the market has emerged across India and the Delhi-NCR over the past week, leaving gaming enthusiasts struggling to purchase the in-demand console and fuelling speculation that retailers and the Indian arm of the global company may be holding back units in anticipation of a price increase.
Several consumers told the publication that they have been unable to locate the PS5 at major retail outlets across the region. The console is also currently out of stock on leading e-commerce platforms, further deepening concerns over its availability.
To assess the situation, the publication contacted major electronics retailers, including Croma, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales. All three outlets provided a similar response, citing constrained supply from Sony as the primary reason.
Store representatives said they have not received any fresh consignments from the company, due to which they are unable to meet customer demand. “We have been facing this issue for the past one month or so. We are not getting any fresh supplies. There is no clarity on when the company will resume deliveries,” a floor manager at an electronics retail chain outlet told this newspaper. Similar responses were received from other outlets.
Multiple shop owners running independent retail stores also said that they have been facing a shortage since the last one month.
However, market experts suggested that outlets have PS5 inventory but are allegedly withholding sales on the directions of the company. The reason, sources said, is an expectation that Sony may raise the console’s price in the coming days. If accurate, this would allow retailers to sell existing stock at higher margins later.
These conflicting claims have added to the uncertainty among buyers, many of whom continue to search for the console without success.
When approached for clarification, Sony India declined to comment on the matter. “We would like to refrain from making any comment,” the company said, leaving questions unanswered and adding to the ongoing speculation.
In the absence of any official update on supply timelines or pricing, uncertainty continues to cloud the availability of the PS5.
The PlayStation 5, Sony’s flagship gaming console, was launched globally in November 2020. It remains one of the most in-demand gaming devices, known for its powerful hardware and immersive gaming experience.

The Conviction to Lead: How Aditya Jangid Scaled AdCounty Media into a Global Powerhouse

New Delhi [India], April 06: In the ever-changing world of digital advertising, it’s not just about being trendy; it’s about having the audacity to change the trend itself. Under the guidance of Founder Aditya Jangid, AdCounty Media has transformed from a young startup to a global AdTech giant.
A Foundation Built on Conviction
While many entrepreneurs are waiting for that “lightbulb moment,” Aditya Jangid’s entrepreneurial story has been one of preparation. Before AdCounty Media, Jangid took almost two years to study the industry, find the best talent, and build the company’s foundation.
This helped him take the risk of quitting a secure job at TCS. For Jangid, it was not a question of hope; it was a question of conviction.
“Everyone said move fast. I chose to move with purpose, we weren’t building an agency, we were building a legacy.”– Aditya Jangid
The Architecture of Leadership
AdCounty’s meteoric growth is fueled by a synergy of specialized leadership. While Aditya Jangid provides the overarching vision, execution is a collaborative effort.
Innovation and technology are led by Chandan Garg (MD-Tech) and Imran Khan Niazi (CTO). Strategy and revenue are spearheaded by Kumar Saurav (Co-Founder and CSO) and Delphin Varghese (Co-Founder and CRO). Financial discipline is managed by Abbhinav Rajendra Jain (Co-Founder and CFO).
Supported by board advisorsSanchit Sanga and Gaurav Dikshit, the leadership team ensures that every technological leap is backed by sound global strategy.
The July 2025 Milestone: Going Public
The ultimate test for AdCounty’s model was put to the test in July 2025 with its IPO. While most companies tend to lose focus in the transition from a private to a publicly listed firm, AdCounty’s Jangid team chose to focus even more on execution.
The market was very enthusiastic about AdCounty’s IPO. It was heavily oversubscribed, which goes to show that investors had immense faith in AdCounty as a brand and a global entity.
“The IPO was not a finish line for us; it was a launchpad. It was a validation of our belief that transparency and results are the only currencies that matter in the world market.” – Aditya Jangid
The Road Ahead: Redefining the Ecosystem
The future of AdCounty Media is built on the philosophy of “Human Centric Tech,” which is all about leveraging the power of advanced AI-based technology with a keen understanding of the human mind to not just play in the marketplace, but to rewrite the rules of engagement.
Aditya Jangid’s AdCounty Media is once again proving the adage that in the world of AdTech, the most powerful algorithm is a vision, precision, and attention to detail.

In an age that loves instant fame and quick labels, Navjot Ahuja’s journey stands as a reminder that real artists are often built slowly. His story is not about chasing a moment. It is about staying committed to the craft for years, even when the spotlight is elsewhere.
With the growing recognition of the best new love song, Khat, Navjot Ahuja may be reaching a wider audience today. Still, the foundation of his music was laid long before public attention arrived.
His rise is best understood not as a sudden breakthrough but as the result of years spent writing, performing, observing, and growing into his own voice.
A Creative Journey That Began With Writing
The best singer-songwriter, Navjot Ahuja, had his connection with music start in school assemblies, where performance first became part of his life. But singing was only one side of the story. At a much deeper level, writing came first. For him, songwriting was never an add-on to being a performer. It was the original impulse.
He has shared that writing was the only way he could let his emotions flow through him. That instinct shaped his identity early on. Before he became known as a singer, he had already begun writing songs.
He practised by creating different renditions of popular songs, using them as an exercise to sharpen his musical instincts. In 2012, he wrote his first original song, marking the beginning of a serious creative path that would continue for years.
That early relationship with writing is important because it explains why his music feels rooted in feeling rather than image. For Navjot, songs begin as lived emotion before they become public performance.
When Life Redirected the Plan
Like many young people, the latest Indian singer-songwriter Navjot once imagined a very different future for himself. He wanted to become a successful engineer. Music was not initially framed as a career decision in the traditional sense. In his own understanding, it was not something he chose in a calculated way. He believes music chose him and stayed with him.
That shift became more real during his college years, around 2021, when he entered professional music. The transition was significant, but it did not come from a desire to follow trends or build a carefully packaged identity. It came from accepting what had already become impossible to ignore.
In many ways, his professional journey began when he stopped resisting the thing that had already defined him creatively.
The Hard Reality of Building as an Original Artist
One of the strongest parts of Navjot Ahuja’s story is that it reflects the real challenges many emerging musicians face today. The struggle is not always about talent. Often, it is about structure, opportunity, and continuity.
He has spoken about how difficult it is for singers and songwriters to maintain a steady band in today’s music space. Instrumentalists now have more freelance opportunities and often perform with multiple singers, which is a healthy shift for them professionally. At the same time, it creates a challenge for artists who are trying to build consistency in their own live sound and long-term collaboration.
Another defining phase came in 2021 and 2022, when Navjot was doing club shows almost every day. It was demanding work, and it came with a creative compromise. He was mostly singing covers because clubs were not open to unfamiliar original songs. For a writer who wanted to express his own voice, that period tested both patience and purpose.
It also highlights a larger truth about the music industry. Many artists spend years performing what audiences already know before they are given the space to perform what they truly want to say.
Growth Over Hype
Even at this stage of his career, new Indian singer Navjot does not describe his focus in terms of singles, albums, performance numbers, or digital growth. His priority is far more personal and long-term. He wants to sing better, play instruments better, understand himself more deeply, and become a kinder person.
That outlook gives his work a distinctive quality. He sees self-knowledge as part of artistic development. The more clearly he understands himself, the better he can give words to emotion. For him, that is what music really is.
The same philosophy shapes how he prepares for recordings and performances. He does not believe in last-minute preparation. Instead, he believes in working on a skill over a long period and then simply warming up before the moment arrives. It is a disciplined way of looking at art, one that values readiness built over time rather than panic-driven effort before a show.
What Khat Really Represents

After 14 years of struggle, the latest Hindi romantic song Khat became an important milestone in Navjot Ahuja’s journey. Professionally, it changed how society viewed him as a musician. It gave him stronger recognition and shifted his public position. But what makes his story stand out is that he does not treat that success as a reason to become someone else.
He has remained committed to the same routine, the same calm, and the same writing process. Even by the time he released his 26th song, his mindset had not dramatically changed. There was no reinvention, no performance of success, and no major shift in how he viewed his work.
That steadiness is what makes Navjot Ahuja’s journey compelling. At a time when many careers are described through spikes, virality, and noise, his journey offers a different story. It is the story of an artist who kept building, kept writing, and kept showing up until the world finally caught up.

The Organization Man: How Jagdish Vishwakarma Rose From Booth Worker to Gujarat BJP President

Ahmedabad: When Jagdish Vishwakarma stepped into the BJP’s Gujarat headquarters, Shri Kamalam in Gandhinagar in October 2025 to file his nomination for state president, it marked the completion of a 27-year political journey. At 51, he was elected unopposed, showing the party’s trust in his long-term commitment. Unlike many leaders, he did not come from a political family or gain sudden popularity. He started at the grassroots level as a booth worker, which is the lowest but one of the most important roles in elections. His journey reflects the BJP’s belief in promoting “sangathan karyakartas,” or organization-based workers who rise step by step.
Vishwakarma’s appointment is not only strategic but also a masterstroke in Gujarat’s electoral arithmetic, which is shaped by caste and religious dynamics. The BJP has long demonstrated a calibrated approach to social engineering in Gujarat. With Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel belonging to the dominant Patidar community, the choice of an OBC leader as state president maintains a delicate balance.
According to the Jhaveri Commission, Other Backward Classes constitute nearly 49% of Gujarat’s population. Vishwakarma, who comes from the Vishwakarma (Panchal) community, fits suitably into this category. His elevation signals continuity in the BJP’s formula: distributing power across caste groups to preserve a broad electoral coalition.
Timing is also important in politics. With municipal and panchayat elections due in 2026 and assembly elections in 2027, the BJP requires a leader capable of mobilizing OBC voters while retaining support among Patidars, Kshatriyas, Brahmins, Dalits, and Adivasis. The Congress’s move to appoint OBC leader Amit Chavda as its Gujarat president adds competitive urgency to this strategy.
The Making of an Organization Man
What distinguishes Vishwakarma is his deep familiarity with the BJP’s organizational machinery. His political journey began in 1998 as a booth in-charge in Thakkarbapanagar, a role often overlooked but critical in India’s electoral system. Booth-level workers are responsible for voter outreach, mobilization, and ensuring turnout, the micro-foundation of electoral success.
From there, Vishwakarma’s rise was steady and methodical. He served as an industry cell convenor in 2013, became Ahmedabad city BJP president in 2015, and held the position until 2021. Alongside, he secured three consecutive victories as MLA from the Nikol constituency in 2012, 2017 and 2022, and served as Gujarat’s former Minister of State for Cooperation.
His most notable achievement came in the 2021 Ahmedabad municipal elections, where, under his leadership, the BJP won an overwhelming 160 out of 192 seats. This performance cemented his reputation as a results-oriented organizer, someone who understands not just politics, but the mechanics of winning.
As one senior party functionary noted, Vishwakarma’s strength lies in “activating booth-level workers and translating organizational energy into votes,” a skill set that aligns perfectly with the BJP’s election-centric structure.
Networks of Power
In politics, competence alone is insufficient; relationships are equally decisive. Vishwakarma has cordial relations with all leaders and is empowered by the absolute confidence of the foremost two national leaders.
At the same time, he has cordial ties with Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and reportedly enjoys access to national leadership channels, including the Prime Minister’s Office. This triad of connections, state leadership, central organization and national command, places him in a uniquely advantageous position.
Yet, the road ahead is challenging. Vishwakarma inherits a party at the peak of its dominance where it won a record-breaking 156 seats in the 2022 assembly elections. Maintaining such a high benchmark will be a formidable task.
Internal factionalism poses an immediate challenge. Vishwakarma faces three key challenges: internal party feuds, public discontent over local issues, and the need to balance caste interests without favoring his own community.
The Test of Leadership
The upcoming local body elections in 2026 will serve as Vishwakarma’s first major test. Success will surely reinforce the BJP’s momentum heading into the 2027 assembly elections. Vishwakarma must now scale his booth-level expertise to a statewide strategy, converting organizational depth into political dominance. The BJP has placed a calculated bet on a combination of discipline and charisma, structure over spectacle, and continuity over disruption. Whether Jagdish Vishwakarma can deliver will shape not just his political future, but also Gujarat’s electoral trajectory in the years ahead. As a senior party leader succinctly put it: “He has the tools, the relationships and the opportunity. Now, it is about execution and timing. In politics, both are everything.”

From Roots to Power : The BJP story

On April 6, 1980, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was founded in Mumbai. Standing on Bharat’s western coast, the country’s popular leader, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, expressed his faith before the nation with the words: “Darkness will recede, the sun will rise, and the lotus will bloom.”
It was a time when the Janata Party government—formed as an alternative to authoritarianism—had collapsed, and a deep sense of despair prevailed across the country. In such a moment, the formation of the BJP marked a historic development on Bharat’s political horizon.
For those who once viewed the BJP with ridicule and disregard, its remarkable expansion over the past 46 years into the world’s largest political party is indeed a striking and unexpected transformation. With over 140 million primary members, the highest number of Members of Parliament and legislators, and a vast network of elected representatives in panchayats and local bodies, the party today serves the nation across a large part of the country through governance.
Driven by the spirit of “Nation First,” the tireless efforts of countless dedicated workers, capable and popular leadership, welfare-oriented policies for the poor, and a clear ideological direction, the BJP has emerged as a vehicle for fulfilling the aspirations of 1.4 billion Bhartiyas.
Beginning with its first founding president, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the Bharatiya Janata Party has been led by eleven presidents over the years. At present, Shri Nitin Naveen serves as the twelfth president, leading the party forward. The BJP’s distinctive organisational approach has enabled it to nurture and present leadership—both at the state and national levels—that shines like constellations in the political firmament. Today, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has established himself as one of the most popular leaders in the world.
In the years following independence, many political parties emerged in the political sphere, rooted in distinct ideologies. However, in the present context, for several parties that once spoke at length about ideology, the pursuit of power by any means has become their sole guiding principle. Many parties, including the Congress, have become entangled in what is often described as left-leaning, urban Naxal-influenced thought. While some political parties and leaders appear to be grappling with ideological bankruptcy, the BJP continues to remain committed to the ideas first championed by Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee and later articulated by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, and embraced since the days of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh.
This ideology is increasingly finding resonance not only across Bharat but also in wider global discourse. Reflecting on this unique characteristic of the BJP, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi once remarked: “We are an organisation-based political party; our organisation is worker-based, and our workers are driven by ideology.”
The Bharatiya Janata Party is the only political party that consistently upholds democratic values in its conduct. Through the renewal of membership every three years and the reorganisation of its structure from the booth level to the national level, the BJP remains an ever-active party, infused with renewed energy. It has ensured meaningful representation for women, youth, and all sections of society within its organisation. The party is also running extensive training initiatives to instill ideological clarity, a spirit of service in conduct, and sensitivity towards society among its workers.
During the period of opposition to the Emergency, it was under the leadership of this very stream of political thought that these democratic ideals were truly upheld. In contrast, many other political parties are increasingly turning into family-centric entities.
The BJP’s commitment to politics is not merely for the pursuit of power, but for the service of society. This is not just a slogan; it is reflected in the conduct of its workers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, party workers risked their lives to serve those in distress. By distributing food rations, masks, and medicines to nearly 100 million people, they set a remarkable example of humanitarian service. Under the initiative “Seva Hi Sangathan” (Service is Organization), countless lives were aided and saved during the pandemic. In times of both natural and man-made disasters, the BJP consistently remains active and committed to relief efforts.
Guided by its motto “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (Together with all, Development for all), the Bharatiya Janata Party remains consistently committed to serving every section of society and ensuring justice for all. Its proactive stance on issues such as women’s dignity during the Shah Bano case, the enactment of legislation against triple talaq, ensuring appropriate representation for women in democracy, and the implementation of welfare schemes for all stand as living examples of this commitment. In line with the spirit of the Constitution and the directives of the Supreme Court, several BJP-led states are actively working towards the implementation of a Uniform Civil Code.
Whenever the nation has required it, the BJP’s leadership has demonstrated the conduct of a constructive opposition. In contrast, sections of today’s opposition, in their persistent criticism of the ruling party, often appear to act in ways that undermine national interest. On critical issues of national importance—such as the 1971 war, the Geneva Human Rights forum engagement in 1994, and economic reforms—the BJP has exemplified the role of an ideal opposition by placing the nation above politics.
The BJP has consistently remained vigilant on matters of national borders and internal security. It has firmly articulated its position on key issues such as nuclear capability, indigenous defence production, and the modernisation of the armed forces. In pursuit of these objectives, the Modi government has undertaken credible and significant initiatives in the defence sector. A policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism and sustained efforts to eliminate Naxalism have instilled confidence among the people that Bharat is in safe hands.
Since the days of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, the BJP has consistently worked to strengthen national integration and safeguard the country’s borders within a broad and comprehensive framework. From its movements against Article 370, its opposition to Chinese expansionism, its role in the liberation of Goa and Daman & Diu, and its resistance to the Berubari transfer, to its participation in the anti-Emergency movement of 1975—across all these, the ideological stream associated with the BJP has made an unparalleled contribution to Bharat’s democratic history. By opposing what it terms “pseudo-secularism” and by participating in—and seeing through to completion—the movement for the construction of a grand temple dedicated to Lord Shri Ram, a symbol of cultural pride, the BJP has transformed itself into a party of the masses.
Principles such as corruption-free development and welfare for the poorest (Antyodaya) reflect the party’s commitment to value-based politics. By commemorating Constitution Day, the BJP has promoted respect for the Constitution and helped disseminate the values articulated by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar across society. The vision of “Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat” represents a campaign to nurture cultural nationalism and strengthen national unity. While some other parties, in the name of secularism, are seen as undermining India’s cultural heritage and civilisational ethos, the BJP leadership has emphasised the promotion of cultural pride.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s assertion—“We do not make announcements merely to win elections; we formulate policies necessary for the nation’s development”—captures the alignment between word and action in BJP leadership. In contrast, the practice of seeking votes on the basis of pre-election announcements and ceremonial foundation-laying had become a hallmark of opposition politics. By prioritising focused development, the BJP has enabled the momentum of progress to reach even the most remote rural areas—often without the need for protests or agitations to demand it.
With humility and without arrogance, BJP workers remain committed to addressing the challenges facing the nation. Through constructive initiatives such as “Ek Vriksh Maa Ke Naam” for environmental protection, efforts toward water conservation, organising programs on the birth and death anniversaries of great national figures, active participation in cleanliness drives, and the promotion and use of indigenous products for building a developed Bharat, the BJP has succeeded in earning the trust of society at large. It is this trust that is reflected in its electoral successes.
The resounding slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” the complete rendition of “Vande Mataram,” and the singing of the national anthem have become integral to the BJP’s identity. It is a matter of pride for the party that it has been given the opportunity to fulfil the aspirations and emotions of the nation. On the occasion of its Foundation Day, a call is extended to millions of BJP workers to actively contribute—along with the support of crores of citizens—towards the shared goal of building a prosperous and fully developed Bharat.
