World Athletics Championships 2025 gets underway in Tokyo from September 13-21 with a 19-strong Indian contingent. The team features 14 men and five women participating in 15 events and is spearheaded by Neeraj Chopra, men's javelin world champion and India's medal hope.

Neeraj will be accompanied by three fellow Indian javelin throwers Sachin Yadav, Yash Vir Singh, and Rohit Yadav while track and field events athletes such as Murali Sreeshankar (long jump), Sarvesh Kushare (high jump), and race walkers Servin Sebastian, Ram Baboo, and Sandeep Kumar will look to make their presence felt.
