The Duleep Trophy 2025 final will be played between South Zone and Central Zone at the BCCI Centre of Excellence, Bengaluru. The match starts on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 9:30 AM IST and will go on for five days.
Both teams reached the final after getting first-innings leads in the semi-finals. Even though their matches ended in draws, the leads helped them qualify. Some players have left for the India A vs Australia A series, so both sides have added replacements from domestic cricket.

South Zone outplayed North Zone in the semi-final, led by Mohammed Azharuddin. They scored a massive 536 runs in the first innings and gained a 175-run lead, which was enough to secure a place in the final.
Central Zone, under captain Rajat Patidar, also made it through thanks to a big first-innings lead. West Zone scored 438 runs, but Central Zone answered strongly with 600 runs, taking a 162-run lead that booked their final spot.
